To keep the feather of your item in a good condition don't expose them to direct sunlight or display them in environments with strong temperature fluctuations. Keep them in hygrometric conditions at a controlled temperature (humidity between 45 and 60 percent and a constant temperature between 20 and 23°C). To avoid insects or molds in the feather, regularly check your items and use insecticide twice a year. These precautions are no 100% guarantee, but following these will minimize the risk of degradation.
