The large rounded forehead- marked with the cross of Saint Andrew - the half-closed eyes and the marks of "tears" - the shape of the nose and the mouth with sharp teeth highlighted. These elements are typical for the Chokwe people from Angola. This mask looks very different than the other Chokwe masks in our collection - because of the gorgeous broad border around the face.
